I've decided that all work and no play makes me irritable, instead of dull. ANYWAY, I was hoping we might be able to recreate Maksim's success at the Con (any pictures?) and have an EPIC bash at my house in Sacramento, ALL MORNING NOON and NIGHT on October 3rd. I have two fairly large tables that can be setup for EPIC-ing, and a big coffee table that would be good for a lunchtime game of Settlers of Kataan. Depending on the number of people who wanna show up, we could get in two, maybe even three games with different opponents. Heck, maybe we'll even go catch 'Hero' at the movies after some pizza?! Waa-hooey! Only one week to go! I'm planing on being ready by 9:30am Sunday if any of y'all are interested in a very early start. Please RSVP so I can have the proper amount of beverages etc around, any requests? There's a good pizza joint just down the street (dinner?) and an Albertsons a couple of blocks in the other direction (hoagie run for lunch?). Ralph is bringing Settler of Kataan, we'll have hordes of Epic armies, and I also have a copy of 'Ben Hurt' a Cheapass Games' chariot racing game. Bring some terrain - I have drop-cloths for a agri-world and a wasteland (Eric-Chern - could you bring your Mars blanket & stuff?), we should be able to populate 2-3 tables (depending on turnout). Can't wait to see everyone again. P.S. Hi Daniel, Iblisdrax and Gang, I will make my obligitory wish for photos... ? Both Chuck and Eric-Chern have digital cameras and know how to use them so the likelihood of photos is strong... my friends! ? We should have two to three boards going. I will bring my Agriworld terrain board and Chuck also has an Agriworld terrain set-up. Eric-Chern and I also jointly have a shared Mars Forgeworld map that we have been working on. We could probably easily have two Agriworld and two Mars Forgeworld boards if we try for them. I hope to upgrade my Nid forces by Chuck-CON with some of the fancy new units and also some Nodes if possible. Hi Iblisdrax, You guys in California have all the good parties.... I've been organizing the Epic players in Northern California so that we can get together and enjoy the game. Dafrca shares the "CA-EA-Wargamers" E-group so when he wants to, he can organize the Southern California E-A wargamers and catch some more games himself! We have four confirmed attendees so it should be rousing good fun! Between the terrain collections of Eric-Chern, Chuck-master and me (Maksim-Smelchak), it should be a visual feast! We should have at least one Agri-world table and one Mars Forgeworld table! We have some great terrain and at least three of us... Have digital cameras although only two of those three know how to use their digital cameras (Excluding me!)!
