Hi,

Just a quick note; tomorrow on the History Channel (uk only I think, sorry) they are running Battlefront ALL DAY! I've been watching some of this series already and it is very good. Half-hour shows about significant WWII battles and skirmishes, etc. Recommended. :)

My wife calls it the "War Channel".

She thinks it is funny how program after program is about wars and then we call it the History channel.  :laugh:

As a real American I must point out, I do not want D.C. to burn. But I would not mind if you wanted to burn at the stake many of the people in Washington, from both parties.  :;):

One of the things I hate is we insist on pushing our system on other countries and then turn that same system into a three ring circus here at home.  :{

Sometimes I just dispise the way the whole process has sunk to the lowest levels.  :L

The 1812 special was pretty good, I always enjoyed programs about the more obscure wars.

I really feel bad about the 3000 dead from the WTC , but I would have had mixed feelings about a plane crashing into the Capitol building.  ???  Does that make me a bad person?  ??? ??? ???

As long as the plane was remote controled so no innocent people were killed? Then no, you are not a bad person. There are some people up there in DC who are just down right dispicable. ?:angry:

I lost my faith in the system long ago. They do not care about us, the normal people.

Therein lies the problem: they surround themselves with innocent people, some of which actually believe in the system.  To change the system from within, you have to enter into the system, and are thereby corrupted by it.  No solution.  :(
