Just out of curiosity. I deny any claims that my semi-regular inquiries are part of a sinister secret plot of the Inquisition I just discovered (again) I've become old as I've started to like old FPS games like Serious Sam", "Renegade" and "Return to Castle Wolfenstein". Even though I'm so pitiful player I manage to get killed at the easiest difficulty level...  |

I play RTCW:Enemy Territory, because it's a free download from ausgamers.com Although I'm back on dialup at the moment, so my gaming is not as much fun. |

I usually play Quake 1, Doom or Wolfenstein. Played Counterstrike and Quake 3 a few times in multiplayer too - people quickly learn to hate me for my lurking tactics, but they soon stop when they find out I'm a crack shot too... Sniper rifle in my hand and several polygon-heavy skulls will get holed.

I used to spend a lot of time playing the multiplayer 'day of defeat', a WWII modification of half-life. Looking foward to playing the Half-Life 2 version. I liked it better than most FPS because the weapons and actions were more realistic, deadly. None of the stupid sprinting bunny hopping and having to unload a full clip into another player that annoyed me about counterstrike. |

Played some Battlefield 1942 (+ a few mods like Desert Combat), Ghost Recon and Jedi Academy. My favourite is still strategy games though. I just got a game called Panzers which really rocks (Think WWII C&C Generals but with a fixed number of units). Knights of the old Republic is highly recomended too. Cheers!

I play Unreal Tournament and Half Life quite a lot as my PC wont support anything better... I'll live at my friends house when he gets HL 2 though...

I've played em all. Right now, playing America's Army and Doom3. Still have Serious Sam, Unreal Tournament 2004, Call of Duty, and Ghost Recon on my hard drive somewhere. In my cabinet are copies of Doom 1-2, Quake 1-3, Half-Life, Duke Nukem, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the first Unreal Tournament, Dark Forces, Dark Forces 2 , Jedi Knight 1-2, Medal of Honor, No One Lives Forever 1-2, the list goes on and on.......  oh, btw, Mojarn, I dont consider Serious Sam that old of a game. Hi! I play first person shooters almost exclusively. Doom 3 being the latest. I consider myself very good at these type games and I'm a worthy foe on multiplayer. Just last night I got voted off th serve for being "too good".....  Primarch |

In the computer age 2 years is a long time... I'm waiting for the Serious Sam 2 (which is, of course, not the same thing as the second encounter) which should hit the shelves by the end of the year. Re: Primarch. I think I'd be voted everybody's favorite target practice.  I am playing the Wolfenstein at "please don't hurt me" difficulty and STILL I've been killed several times already. Damn undead.  Did you know that moldy and rusty been-in-a-grave-for-a-millenia medieval shields are bulletproof?
