I thought I would post this news here out of respect for one of my mates: I attended the funeral of a friend and epic opponent two days ago. ?He died after a long illness, a few months before his 30th birthday. Far too young. He will be sadly missed by the local epic community, and his hordes of tyranids will consume our armies no more. ?The marine chapter he was building will no longer be finished. The family are giving his most of his miniatures to our local club, and we intend to auction them and donate the proceeds to appropriate medical research. His death reminds me that by far the most important aspect of the games we play are the people, whether they are members of forums like these, or friends in the same city. Bye James. Miss you. |

It is always sad when another Epic player goes to the great gaming table in the sky. But, at least you had his company in the time he had here. As far as the auction goes, will you be doing it online, or locally? Because I for one would love to help out in that manner, as I'm sure many on this forum would like to. Condolences, iblisdrax |

Cheers guys, the figures will probably go in a local bring & buy, but I'll let the forum know if they go online. |

Hi! As someone who deals with the issue of death on a daily basis it is most disconcerting when someone in the prime of life is taken due to illness. It is something I cannot get over even after several years as working as a pathologist. I am sorry for your loss and may his family be consoled in these difficult times. Primarch |
