Reading 5th Horseman's post sudddenly got me realizing that I too will soon be leaving for a while. I guess it must have slipped my mind with exams and all hanging over my head.
Anyway I'll probably be gone for two weeks:
- Friday is my final exams which will probably result in excessive drinking no matter what the result.
- Saturday I'm off to Roskilde Festival. One week of consumation of beer ad nausea (and probably beyond), lots of great music and no way of getting anywhere near a shower (which is probably the reason why my girlfirend won''t be coming...) Can't wait!
- Then I'm going a week to Normandy with my girlfriend. There should hopefullly be time to see where the D-day landings took place plus visiting a bunch of other historical sites like Bayeux. ...At least when I'm not relaxing by the pool. I found a great looking book about the Knights Templar which I plan to read while there.
- Then I only have to figure out how to survive the rest of July cause I'll probably be broke for the remainder of the month!
