May your weekend be full of different aspects of miniature gaming. If you don't hear from me in monday it means I've frozen to death. Which, BTW, shouldn't be too great a loss... ![]() |

Awwww, Mojarn, Epicomms would never be the same again; a darker place, a less than welcoming url would it be when the friendly olive drab avatar is gone. Gone! He would have abandoned us, and we would remember him, with a great sense of loss, a vast emptiness, a great unhappiness, yes, Epicomms would then be draped in black, in signs of mourning, memorials would be raised, and toasts, to the name of the fallen hero. Fallen, not from grace, but in the field of duty, frozen - ![]() - hey, isn't it summer in Australia? Oh, you're not that guy from down there; or the one from PR; or the states; or Sheffield, or ?- oh wait, you're the Finn. Oh - sorry - my wrong - bye then Mojarn. ![]() ![]() |

I've been finishing my mid-term projects for the past 2 weeks. Last night I only got 2 hours of sleep after finishing the last project at 4.30 am. Now I'm gonna sleep for a couple of days... ...unless of course someone calls me tomorrow and the only pitty excuse for not going drinking I've got is a whiny "I'm tired..." with the almost certain outcome of further sleep deprivation and an enormous hangover to go with that and I don't get the time I wanted to finish some Epic terrain I had planned because this was the only weekend in a long time I am not too busy with work, school and all sorts of other distractions like my girlfriend putting me to work like cleaning the appartment and stuff because i haven't had the time and been working on some epic stuff which has made the kitchen rather a mess and, and, and... ...I'm depressed now ![]() ![]() Anyway: Have a good weekend guys. Stay warm Mojarn. -And Chris: I heard that eating plenty of B vitamins the day before a major drinking party should be really effective in preventing hangovers ![]() Cheers! ![]() |

Allright I hope I understand this correctly so I'll give it a try. In the upper right corrner theres a box with a folder called "Pages". When you open a new document there appears an icon called A-Master. doubleclick on it and make your basic layout template (text boxes, graphhic boxes etc. can be done here but is not strictly nescesary.). Then it is a simple matter of drag and drop the master copy into the box below which displays the actual document. Then you can add text, graphs and pics. page numbers etc. Exactly how the master layout should look is a matter of preferrence. You could simply make the master a gigantic pic-box and import some template you've created in Photoshop or illlustrator. Or you can make it by using the options available inside InDesign itself. This is a bit more tricky. I hope it helps. Cheers! ![]() |

one of the other things to do with any InDesign template is to utilise styles throughout the document as this will ensure consistency throughout |

Hi! I sat down and started learning the software, some stuff is intuitive, some not, but you can do lots with it. Jimbo, I know what the styles tab is, but can you create one importing it from say a file made under photoshop or illustrator? I finally got the image on the net epic gold thread down to a good size, so can see what I came up with. Primarch |
