I've finally had enough of my 4 year old PC chugging along at 400MHz (which was SO cool 4 years ago...), it was crashing on my 5+ times per day.

So I bought a new one today - 3.06GHz of Processing superpower with a DVD Burner onboard!!!

I've just managed to find my way around XP to dial into the www and of course had to come here as my first point of experimentation!

L4- I will donate my old PC to you (free of charge) to replace that web TV...you just gotta come pick it up!  :cool:

I'm off to ZOOM across Cyberspace!

Its scary how quickly Fast PCs start to get slow. I know my AMD 2.1+ felt like lightning when I got it, but its already showing signs of stress!

(And of course - remember to check out the Mercenary Brush to see how it looks on a fast machine..... OK, so My hit counts droping - I'm getting desperate :{ )

Hi!

THe one mean computer, the DVD copier will be very useful for file archives. I reduced my 12 CD archives to 3 DVD's.

Actually I'm on leave L4, so I was probabaly out buying beers for you!

iblisdrax- I understand your pain.  I have found that if you have kids then you wont have the hrs to enjoyably squander in fron tof the screen and the choice becomes much easier!

Yeah, I have 3 girls, 1, 2, and 4, so my extra time is, shall we say, slim.   I maybe get an hour at a time to work on my mini's, while it is actually easier to play games while the rugrats run wild around me.   :p

Wow- 3 under 4 is HARD work mate!

I can never get mine to run wild around me, without involving me within 5 mins (usually to solve a dispute!).  I find it more worthwhile to do minis in 30-60min blicks when I can.

...3 under 4.... :o
Wonderful and rewarding its true- but hard work nonetheless!

Wait till they are all about 15 to 19ish, you will need two bathrooms! You will be able to spend more time on mins then though...
