I knew he has been busy- anyone who has had to move into a house and THEN renovate it, will know the horror which Signius now experiences.  

Sounds like he is back on track to waste his time in more important things than painting doors and laying carpets  :laugh:

Within the next year or so I will finally be considering to buy a home, so such concerns like Signius has faced are quickly becoming apparent. Hopefully they wont take too long.....

True, Mojarn, I'd definitely pay someone to to any work and maintainance to any house I buy.

Then again besides buying lots of epic stuff, money's true value lies on how much work it can get you out of.... :D

My philosophy is that you work to earn money to enjoy a lifestyle.  Its each to their own after that.  Some enjoy home improvements, some like tinkering with their car.  

Then there are those who want their time to paint and play with lead models and let the other stuff happen around them!  :;):
