Hi all looking for some advice please. I'm looking to get a website hosted and I'm looking for advice/recommends for which UK based web hosting site I should use. So far I've been given both Heart Internet and Tradestands as viable options. Has anyone here had experience/dealings with either of these sites or have any recommendations for alternatives which would also be much appreciated. Any advice/help/ideas gratefully received. This site is actually hosted through Heart. I have a VPS which I admin, and run four websites from, with dedictaed IP addresses. Its difficult to give a huge amount of feedback, since with a VPS package you get zero customer support, but I am happy to chat about hosting options out there. I have been doing this for way too many years, and have experienced a few companies. All that said, I havent had any problems with Heart so far, and their website is pretty helpful with FAQs, etc. I was originally with Easily (and the domains are still registered through them) but I had their 'pay as you go' package, and it got expensive fast. Hi CS and thanks for the reply sir and the offer of advice. As it happens i have a site being built via Tradestands as we speak so i'm good for now. Domain name, website and paypal all in hand for Vanguard Minis. Cheers |

Epic-UK is with nethosted, not had too many problems with them. Not the cheapest out there though. |

Andy of Tradestands has very reasonable prices for hosting, building sites and he does 3D work too. Great guy i'd use him again. |
