yeah FNM are good, I never felt they were the same after Jim Martin left though, his solo album 'milk and blood' is a bit of a hidden gem.... |

Yeah, a lot of fans are like that about them and many were disappointed when he didn't rejoin for the reunion (it was only because his main concern was "the business" rather than wanting to play together again). Personally I don't feel the same; for me my favourite songs are Angel Dust onwards - and while Martin performed on AD he famously had little input into the songs after disappearing for most of the time during recording. I wouldn't argue that King For A Day or Album of the Year work brilliantly as albums but there are some great individual songs on those. The new album Sol Invictus is really strong, my favourite album now after Angel Dust. That said, I'll definitely need to look into getting that album, I wasn't aware of it. Cheers!
