This was just posted on the Gothic list by Matt Keefe: Hello all, The following email is not directly relevant to Battlefleet Gothic, but I feel it is important for you all to be aware of recent developments. Unfortunately, my fellow editor Steve Hambrook has recently passed away. The following is a short dedication written by Jervis Johnson, line manager for both myself and Steve. Matt Keefe ***** This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to write. At the end of last week Steve Hambrook passed away. Steve has been my friend and colleague for more than five years. When I joined the Fanatic team Steve was already a hardened veteran, having served three years in the trenches as editor of the Citadel Journal from issue 21-42. He went on to become the editor of Town Cryer, Necromunda Magazine, and Warmaster Magazine. The Fanatic design studio will simply not be the same place without him. We already miss him and his easy, self-deprecating humour more than words can say. We know that Steve's loss will be felt just as deeply by many of you too. In order to allow everyone to pay their respects to Steve we have set up a book of condolence on our website. Please take the time to write a few words if you possibly can. I know that it would mean a huge amount to Steve's family to know just how much he will be missed by us all. http://www.specialist-games.com/cond.asp Jervis Johnson STEVE HAMBROOK (1970-2003) Editor Citadel Journal 21-42, Town Cryer 7-28, Warmaster Magazine 1-20, Necromunda Magazine 5-9, other Fanatic publications too numerous to mention "Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives."
