Hi guys,
I know a fair few people are gonna be at Gamesday this year, I will be there quite early depending on the state of the friday night, but will definately be at the Fanatic seminar and hopefully the Forgeworld one as well (but I left the forgeworld seminar a tad late :S).
Other than that, I will most likely be at the nearest bar (I hope they have a bar :|), or in the EPIC section. There will be no t-shirt unfortunately, but I will no doubt have metal wrist spikes on and coloured hair - which colour it will be I have no idea at the mo. I should be fairly easy to pic out from the crowd (6'4!) but if anyone wants to meet, then let me know and I will track ya down .

I was stuck for transport so am coming up on one of the coaches from my local GW (AAARRRGGGGHHH!!!! 2 Hours there and back on a coach full of Sproggy Fanboys!!) so dont know what time I'll be arriving or leaving unfortunately.
I would certainly like to meet up with as many of you guys as possible. To make life a little easier, I may even Don my Epic40K.com T-Shirt for one last year, but no garuntees as I may not be able to find it!
Perhaps we should set a time to all meet at the Space Marine? I dont know what time the seminars are this year - I dont have tickets myself , so how would 1pm at the Space Marine sound? (For those who havent been before, they normally have one of their BIG Bronze SM's there to act as a meeting point, and also the gathering point for all the banners from the GW stores.)

No bar.... what.... what do you mean no bar?!? Geez, but we are gonna be there for like a WHOLE day .
Oh, well at the Bronze space marine it is then at 1, I might be seeing if I can get a space on the local coach as well, so I have complete sympathy for you Paul! You will need to get to the Fanatic stand before 11 to get tickets to the seminar though.
No bar........... you see this is what is wrong with GW these days, no consideration for adults, and if it because they have retargetted there target audience to kids, then surely they can sell 2 litre bottles of cider in brown paper bags?

I second the request for pictures. I want to see what they come up with that we have not yet seen. And if anyone is passing the Gothic display, dont forget that we want to see those too!
As an aside, I am more than happy to compile and host any pictures from people. Just drop them to me in an email if you need online space. Thanks.

Well I will also be there, and trying to force my way into the Fanatic Seminar (Which is 12pm while 1pm), once I get a ticket...
I am also getting on a coach at 6.30AM!!! to get to Birmingham. I think I will just stick in some headphones and read White Dwarf for a few hours...
I am also taking my digi-cam so I will be snapping loads of pictures, of anything and everything...hopefully most of the Fanatic seminar...
And I will meet with you all, 1pm is it...I'll be there. I've just dug out a map from a WD of this years GD, looks like no statue, but there is an Information thing, so I would guess that could be it....we will find out soon enough
Also the Fanatic Desk is in the middle of the hall, so those of us who need to get there for a ticket now know where it is!
And it's only a week away...
Cheers
Chris

Chris | Hmmm... may need a change of plan. By complete suprise, a ticket to the F/W seminar appeared in the post for me this morning!!
That being great news (for me at least ), it happens to be at 1pm . If the Fanatic Seminar is at 12 (which I'm sure some will be attending), what say ye to 2pm at the Space Marine, and if there isnt a SM, the default would be the Fanatic stand.
Of course, there's nothing to stop everyone else meeting at 1pm - I'm not very interesting anyway.....

Hmm... I also have a Forgeworld ticket, so will probably be at both seminars in the absense of a bar.
A 2pm meet sounds good to me, the information stall sounds like a good bet .

I just got an e-mail confirming that FW are sending me a seminar ticket, which is rather cool, so I guess I will also be in both Seminars. Kick Ass!
Cheers

I will be around too, so I will probably catch up with you guys as well. I will be around fanatic and FW to pick up some stuff.
Not sure if Tom was able to get a FW ticket for me due to delays for post to Germany making it an unreliable way of getting into the FW seminar but heres to hoping!!
I have seen Paul and Tom's pics so I should be able to find you and hopefully meet the rest. I am bringing a camera too, and I have also tried to reserve some new FW models so lets see what we can dig up over there.
I personally am looking forward to this battle with the titans, I have to get pics of that!!

Hi!
I remember that on the old epicentre site we actually had pictures of netepic members, so as to "get to know each other" better.
I wonder if we could do something like that here on the forum?
Its always interesting to see if people look like what you imagined them to look like by just their posts.

Well I can get a photo of me up on the web so you all know which nutter to look for....
As for a group pic of us at Gamesday for the site, I think it would be a cool idea, perhaps we could take one and have a "Best Caption" competition?
Cheers
Chris
