Ok, two things. 1) See ya Gandalf, enjoy whatever it is you do if life. 2)(Not meaning to cause trouble) I think you are childish, dissapearing because of a bad thread. You could just say sorry, and then we all forget about it. Things in life are more inportant than Epic, BFG and GW (I know some people may disagree but...) We all make mistakes. No bodies perfect. Hi! Darn. I was one of the first to comment on that thread, in my usual light hearted manner. After I did, I remembered other such threads on other forums or mailing lists about this subject and the outcomes of those threads (all bad). I had resolved to make a post and suggest caution since I know rather well how inflammatory the subject is. Alas, I was too late. I'm sorry to see you go, I dont really think you need to leave. But my suggestion in the originating thread still stands... ..always keep this subject low key and always use private channels to discuss/offer/trade or whatever. As you have seen, it may save a LOT of grief. Primarch |

That'll teach you to play nice.  Looking over that tread, it seemed to have gotten heated rather quickly. Too, quickly. I thought these ancient discussions were for the other boards. This was the kind of thing I joined this group to try to avoid. Oh, well. These things happen, I guess. |

I wish it were that easy. Sadly it is not up to us. It is his choice to make. If he wants to allow that thread to chase him away all our kind thoughts will not change it. I agree, I would not leave, and I hope he changes his mind, but I will accept what ever he elects to do. dafrca |

Well Gandalf, if you leave, I'll be sorry to see you go. If you stay, good. One arguement on a thread shouldn't be enough to fall out with anyone. I would imagine before long I will have some heated discussions with everyone here, and I maybe wrong too. I am very stubborn sometimes, but I wouldn't take any bad feelings away from what was on that particular thread. And I wouldn't hold it against anyone. At the end of the day, feelings are hard to express on a keyboard. Being sincere can come across as though your taking the p*ss etc. |
