Saw it online, and while it looked pretty good, the two armies composition looks exactly the same. I am sure that gets raves on 'balanced' but to me its boring. But the quality of the set looks pretty good anyone give it a shot? Don't know anything about the universe it takes place in.

I bought the Starter Set a while back. Still in the box though, only halfway assembled. Read part of the rules, looks interesting, some nice concepts, for example you can destroy buildings, then there's the close quarters battles (INF vs. INF in buildings) and I also prefer the indirect fire rules to E:A: you actually get a negative modifier - meaning it's harder to hit - when shooting indirect, and you can only shoot at targets that ANY unit in your army can see. If one of your units in proximity to the target has the "scout" ability, you don't get the negative modifier.
From what I read it is very centered on shooting though, felt a bit like 40K.

Minis look decent, but I am not sure if the plastic minis from the starter set are a little less quality to the resin stuff. Haven't bought any other minis so far, but one building. Those look awesome, too bad terrain from DZC is very very expensive!

cheers,

Destroying buildings, infantry fighting in them and indirect fire not being accurate? We have had those things in SM2/NetEpic for years.
