This board is much too quiet.

I am always working on multiple things but wrapping up restoring a slightly beatup Imperator I got off ebay. The tip of the defense laser was broken, and so were 3 of the tips of the towers. Also the legs were glued at an angle that caused the center of gravity for the fort on its back to lean too far back. This thing was glued so well together that I could barely take it apart. They guy I got it from said he barely used it after he bought the Titan Legions game back in the day, and even the plastic had those orangish-brown stains plastic sometimes gets over time. Anyway, rebuilt all the parts even the front of the defense laser (I'll post pics soon).

Also, working on a Genestealer cult for Epic 40k (small 300 point army made up of 3 detachments).

2 Warlords for the Epic Space Marine v2 games I've got going on with a friend.

And finally, some falcons, vibro cannons, and dark reapers for the Eldar army I have for the games mentioned above. Hoping to bust out those boys when my friend gets Space Marines down.

So the part of the defense laser's hose to the front is what I built from scratch. It looks like a mess because I've primed it, filled with contour putty, and sanded it. Still have a little ways to go. And you can see the pink tips of the towers i am in the process of shaping too.

Even made that little cut in the barrell. Did this by actually cutting three pieces of the plastic tube, cutting one down, then glueing them together.

Really wish I could have taken this guy apart completely but parts were really melted together and I would have just destroyed the plastic, which will make painting this thing a bitch.

Hey! I've started a channel too a bit ago, and I'm resurrecting it now. It's about my general wargaming, but there will definitely be more 6mm scale stuff as I progress as I'm just finishing up a warhammer army, and then moving on to my 6mm stuff that I traded for and bought.

Well, I'm working on a Mob of Epic Blood Axe Heavy Boyz, which are almost done. Then a mob of Epic Blood Axe Nobz ... as usual I'll post pics when I done ... ^-^

Epic 40k Genestealer Cut using rules from Firepower 3. I think.

3 detachments. First the coven with the patriarch, 2 genestealer broods and limos for everyone. Using Ork Dragsters here.

Then a support detachment with a Magus (using an epic 40k imperial psyker for him), with 2 support weapons and two brood brother squads.

Then my assault group with another magus, 4 brood brothers, one genestealer, and a leman russ.

Using the old school imperial guards because you old timers will remember they were used in 40k, so I'm literally trying to build this based on those old white dwarf pics.

The patriarch I am undecided on. Its an awesome old familiar and the perfect size for this, and I thought of basing him on a stand with 4 genestealers, but he's big and its kinda crowded with him on it. But he's about the same size as the little Epic 40k avatar and the chaos familiars I use for greater daemons, and since I base them by themselves on a 20x20 stand, figured Inwould do the same for him.

Anyway, had an idea to create some scenerio where a game would start out with these guys occupying a downtown area like they just raided an army depot, and the local Imperial Guard army (of 600 points arrives to put down this insurrection. Then in a couple of rounds a 600 point Tyranid army shows up, then after that a 300 point Space Marine army. Very small armies I know, but that is what I love about Epic 40k. This means the games are short but that also means every decision is important. So I have 300 army lists of all the major races, then 600 expanding on each of those. Like adding a Gargant to the 300 Ork army to bring it up to 600. This way I can grab an army real quick, and make some interesting scenerios by allying them with each other. I know Epic is about big battles but I really wanted to take my time on some favorite units and all I find myself doing with 20 unit detachments is rushing to paint them. So I thought I would do this.


Anyway hope to play out this scenerio someday.

Oh, and about my little scenerio. Recently read that when Tyranids do show up where a genestealer cult is, the cult is just as freaked out as everyone else, and tries to flee, not fight along side the tyranids. Which is brilliant as when they flee, they just settle wherever everyone else does, then raise another cult, which gets the Tyranids attention, and starts the cycle all over again. I love it. However, it totally breaks what I had going on here lol.

If I was ever to do a Genestealer army, it'd have limos ;D

As for myself, adding some close armor support to the guard with some Leman Russ Demolishers and pulled out some old SHT proxies to paint up.

Long since moved out of Aber! Think I came back home about 2007? I was only there for university and that was during my wargaming break. I stopped during A-Levels and then didn't start playing anything again until about 2008. Only recently picked up Epic because, hey, I'm a grownup, I get to choose what I waste my money on now! :D
