I remembered that someone on the forum had Stridsvagn S as their favourite "tank". I attended a conference at the Stockholm Army Museum and took this picture:

And an L4 Quiz! What is this?

The weird type with the weak spot for the ultimate not-tank was probably me. I have no clue about the APC, though...

By Swedish tradition, the "42" part is the year of introduction. With a number of improvements, it was not totally abandoned until 2004. It was designed and built by Volvo, you know the "safe" car. I would feel pretty safe in a collision, too.

I would buy both, if certain water mammals would only get in that Post Office line. I can think of a few armies that would have fun with an old-school APC and a weird Tank; any ork warlord, low-tech Guards, Chaos Cultists...

Yes. Cultists. Perfect match. Looks very much like an improvised APC. Which it almost is in a sense. And I too would pay for postage to the fringes of the old world.

Ehm. There is some Swedish on that page all right. Mostly some eastern European language though, but hey, the more the merrier? :D I would have expected a poorly translated page with a mix of Swedish and English but that third one was an interesting surprise.
