Not sure if this is old news, but I just stumbled on Beasts of Wars on Sky TV! So, if you are in the UK and have Sky, it's on channel 201 tonight at 8.30pm.

There is a new episode every other Thursday (at 5:30pm) and its been running since late last year. So somewhat old news but well worth mentioning as virtually no one seems to know about it - or maybe that's just the people I talk to? Our hobby is huge with clubs and gamers in every town and city (not to mention villages like where I live) so its nice to see miniature gaming getting some mainstream attention. Providing you class the Showcase channel on Sky as mainstream, which I totally do ;)

I heard that Exodus Wars were getting a mention, not sure if it was for 28mm stuff rather than the 6mm stuff.....

Considering they claim it is a "wargamming" program they do seem to fixate a lot on 28mm sci-fi and fantasy. But (and I might be wrong in this) I was under the impression they covered what they get told about, they don't go and find news they wait for it to come to them as it were.

Yeah. I have to admit to being a little disappointed in this. It was really just another 'whats new this week' 15 minutes. I am not sure that there is still a huge market for this kind of thing that isn't specialised. I can understand them moving more towards 28mm SciFi/Fantasy as this caters to the largest demographic and keeps things more focussed, but it makes it of limited interest to me personally.

We get mentions for Ninjabread and Golem quote a bit. It's quite cool, high production values. Could do with a bit more personality behind it and a tighter pace.

I could live without the "Can't stop the signal" style Firefly/Serenity ripoff as well.

not interested in the 'how to play.....x' feature really, wasting time with that one when IMO they should make separate videos so people looking for info on infinity or malifaux can find it

Just our 28mm so far :). 6mm probably is outside the target audience.
