Kurt Helgar - 1 x First Knight, Inner Circle; Barding; Hand Weapon; Lance; Full Plate Armor; Shield
Captain Gruber - Hero, General; Barding; Great Weapon; Full Plate Armor,Warhorse.

Stirland Blades - 21 x Swordsmen, Musician; Standard Bearer; Hand Weapon; Light Armor; Shield; Griffin Banner
Heinrich Wulf - 1 x Champion, Hand Weapon; Light Armor; Shield.
    8 x Handgunners, detachment

Big Bessie - Empire Great Cannon, 3 Crew

5 x Grail Knights, with Paladin Battle Standard Bearer

3 x Pegasus Knights

Battle of Mousillon
Turn 1:
Enemy deployed evenly before refusing the right flank, and setting up charges for the left flank. Cannon hit one knight, but it was saved by the blessing, Hand Gunners slew a Knight of the Realm.

Ogres redeployed to move to assist the beleaguered left flank.

Turn 2:
Pegasus Knights slaughtered the Cannon crew, Knights of the Realm and Knights Errant charged the Stirland Lords, routing them and running them down. Grail Knights advanced to roll up the left flank.

Swordsmen charged and routed the Knights of the Realm, Ogres advanced to set up a charge on the Pegasus Knights.

Turn 3:
Grail Knights charged and routed the Swordsmen, pursued off the table. Ogres charged and slaughtered the Knights of the Realm.

Turn 4:
Ogres were charged by the Knights Errant and Pegasus Knights, slaughtering the Pegasus Knights and routing and running down the Knights Errant. Grail Knights Reappear.

Turn 5-7:
Ogres kept fighting until the last Ogre, LockJaw finally succumbed to the last remaining model on the board. The Bretonnian BSB.

Complete bloodbath, I fell for the refused flank, the oldest trick in the book! I swear there was major codex escalation in action here :), the Empire troops (first army released) couldn't touch the Brettonians (second to last army released), but the Ogres massacred everyone even though they were only a quarter of my points!!! (Ogre Kingdoms were the most recent army).

Heh - you might be right, Netepic - I'm looking forward to meet the ogres with my chaos types, though - I'm on a running streak, with all WHFB games I played in 2005 won.

Ah - the benefit of using the third most recent army list! :p

Although saying that, I have played a total of three games since I was 10, so I am probably just a disgruntled newbie!

This was my problem, should have fielded land raiders! Possibly the only unit that the Bretonnians couldn't massacre on turn one!

It is my new opponent, he is a genetically engineered bio-weapon. Unbeatable in combat, dammit. And his GF is a complete bird!

Oh well, games are loads of fun with him, I do love a challenge. Next time I will just have to make it into a drinking game, every time you win a round of combar do a shot :D. Should balance things!
