Hi all,
to reward myself for the astronomy business I'm thinking of getting a few new models for a downloadable set of gamerules. The locally available stuff includes models from two games: the SF Void (but very few models are availables -I'm fancying the Junkers) and the Fantasy Confrontation - some great models (I'm eying some Fantasy version of the Inquisition - plus Dwarvish war machines, which can be taken as allies) but I get the impression the rules are similar to heroclixistics. Has anyone tried either of the two, and any opinions on the (1) models (2) availability of (3) gameplay?

Netepic has far more experience with Void but here are my observations.

It feels (to me) like a cross between 40k and Warzone with most  of the bad sides of 40k replaced with something better. The game is, to put it short, far more tactical than 40k and the focus is on troops rather than superheroes. The armies are quite nice (and BTW, I too like the Junkers  :;): ) and I like the minis. With Urban Mammoth doing the new urban war system there should be a steady influx of new minis.

I was once involved with the Void 40k (40k -> Void conversion) and made a couple of armylists for it but for some reason lost the inspiration and dropped out.
