Yes! The book comes complete with armylists for all the corporations, the cartel (yes, it's back!), the dark apostles plus the tribes of earth. All in all a tiny, little 535 page book...  :o  :cool:

And if the models had looked even half as good as the artwork they might have had a hit on their hands.

Know what you mean... they look rather like RT era GW models.... not at all in line with todays amazing 40k stuff, but still with their own charm all the same...  :)

Yah, I guess I am just spoiled now with my Reaper and such. But they drove me nuts.   :L

I received some of their literature befroe the game came out the first time, I thought it looked good. Then I saw the minis and changed my mind.

I preordered in November.  :;):

RE: models. It is true that unfortunately most of the models date back to the 1st edition of Warzone. Target started to resculpt the range but had only begun when the other division collapsed and took gaming with it.  :(

However, I confess I like the 1st edition Blood Berets more than I do the more "realistic" 2nd edition ones. The Venusian rangers _are_ horrible, that's true and there are several sub average examples in all the ranges.

Considering that the reaper 28mm models are individuals made for RPGs I don't think the comparsion is entirely fair; nobody is going to buy whole units of those.

All in all, a matter of taste.

Hi!

Some models are bad, but they tend to be the much older sculpts, most of the newer stuff is pretty good and they should be re-doing the older stuff in time.

Its the only 28mm skirmish game I own and the mechanics are good.

I haven't read the whole thing yet (surprise, it's 535 pages!) but what I've seen so far (after quick skimming) makes me happy. The army lists have been greatly expanded; they even have the Freedom Brigades for Capitol!!  :cool: Cybertronic is once again high-tech and not steampunk and the fluff in general is an excellent combination of all the good stuff from the RPG, 1st and 2nd editions.  :cool:
