Gentlemen, I present to you the masked unit.

This is a 3D model done in MoI as an homage to Futurama.

First, the source picture

Now let's see, where do we find those pills... to hide?

And when does that bleeding¹ water mammal learn to do inverted steel (al/bz?) models, instead of positive prototypes?

The world stands in wonder... and awe.

¹ Yes, they bleed their prey, ie eat only the choicest bits, when happening upon an abundance.

Next step is clearly the animation where it unfolds into that shape from its normal cinema-going shape.

*edit, also those would make very characterful pariahs in a necron force

Heya Erik, it's just a rendering. I never printed it.

And, I probably never will. This was just an idle fancy I had. It seems my daughter has a weird fascination with Futurama, and my mind always ponders how to make one of their robots in MoI. So, the test subject was the masked unit.

At 6mm scale, this thing would probably stand 11mm or so, but the legs would be too thin to survive printing, casting, painting, being looked at, etc..

Points of improvement, which will probably not be implemented:

Too many 'jaggies' in mouth.
Chest sections need to be more sloped.
Consider making 'Masked Unit' label on chest.
Make fisted version.
Make striding version.
