What do you use to measure with? Tape Measures, cheese sticks, cloth tape ruler, laser range finder ![]() Just curious. I use a cloth tape measure. Some people in our groups use metal tape measures. What do you'all use? dafrca |

I use the range rulers and metal tape measures. I do have a flexible tape measure too, for awkward measurements. A laser range finder would be great!!! |

I use a couple of very cheap carpenters tape measures (I have both metal and cloth retractable). Otherwise I have a nasty habit of causing major destruction as models go flying with rulers, etc. |

Like most here it seems, I use a simple tape measure. ? For LOS issues, I have one of those eye safe key chain laser pointers, for which I have made an attachment which places a mirror at 45degrees at the buisness end. Thus I need only hold the laser pointer above the firing model and the mirror bounces the laser at right angles to see if the firing unit has true LOS to the intended target. ?Works a treat ![]() |

Hi! I use a tap measure in centimeters, which is a b***h to get in some places in the US. I'd like to get one of those laser thingies for LOS too. Primarch |

Hi! Thanks for the offer Tas! I fortuntely found a place when I lived in the continental US that had a couple and I still have them around my keys, they are that valuable. If I do need them, I know who to call now. ![]() Primarch |

I generally use a ruler, the awful blue measuring sticks, or a tape measure. Of course, the more adventurous of you can get tattoos on your arms in "mm" and "cm" increments! ![]() Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

Hi! I don't have tattoos, but I did now the measurements of my index finger, hand and distance to elbow. Players thought I had an uncanny ability to guess distances..... ![]() Primarch |

and that kind of "cheesey" behaviour is exactly why "guessing" is flawed and in my games I always allow pre-measuring. |
