OK, my fast and dirty feedback:
Things I liked: 1) There was a lot of room to walk around to look. 2) It was obvious people were having a good time playing. 3) The game tables were wonderful. 4) Staff was great, friendly, and helpful for the most part. 5) Nice viewing area for Golden Demon Award Figures 6) Chaos and Imperial Guard Plastic Sprues for $2.00 ea. :-)
Things I did not like: 1) Forgeworld not stocked with all items from their catalog. 2) Forgeworld Staff reluctant to look for Epic Items. 3) Almost no pre-release items to look at. 4) Very poor layout of store, too many security risks. I'd love to know there shrinkage rate. 5) No metal epic bits on bit sale boards. 6) Specialist had almost no models on display, and none we have not already seen.
Bottom line, it was as if GW put a half effort into the first West Coast Games Day. Note I said GW not the local store staff people, they were working hard. It lacked many of the features I have looked fondly at in the past issues of White Dwarf. This looked almost like an amature Fan Con rather then an offical Games Day. What little there was to take pictures of will follow later in the week.

Chris | It was not on show at this Games Day. There was almost no pre-release items on show. I was very disapointed in the way it was done when it comes to that aspect.
As for pictures, I am trying to find the time. Life keeps getting in the way of my hobby :')

Guys,
I have just been looking at the website for the day and saw in the "Open Gaming Tables" section that there were 2 Epic games advertised: "MacCragg's Last Stand" and "Desert Oasis". Did you see these in action?

Any recon photos of these "actions" ? Also, I saw photos of the new Epic F/W Wave Serpent at the LA Show. There appears that there are 3-5 different turrets (?), as they did for their 40K version (3 turrets in the catalogue). They did the same thing with their Epic Chimeras - 3 different turrets - same hull. I'll be selling my extras here at cost + post !!! I'm as predictable as F/W !!
