Has anyone attempted to play 'armour' battles using the Epic:A rules?, Just wondering if they are any good?, or is this version as 'infanty-centric' as the others were?
(Get little chance to play it, and I am buildig up LOADS of Imperial armour)

Well, since Epic is based on 40K, that is true and all versions have a lot of infantry types. But a Tank on Tank game should work with any version that you play. Of course I am biased in favor of the "Grunts" ... ? But all my armies have a good mix of everything (AFVs, Troops, FA etc.) available to each army ...

As a good generic combined arms game, you should be able to play armour only battles with ease. However, you may find that it some of the details you want and usually get with an armour only game, are lost in the transition to combined arms.
