Hi folks, it’s time for another Forge World newsletter.

This issue is full of new releases and news on which shows Forge World will be attending in April.

Shows first. Next Sunday Forge World will be at the Leeds Royal Armouries for Conflict Leeds.
This is the first of many Conflict events Forge World will be attending this year.
Two weeks later on Saturday the 19th of April we will be in Scotland for Conflict Edinburgh at the Corn Exchange.
http://www.games-workshop.com/news/uk/e ... efault.htm
The week after we are going to be at both Salute! 2003 in London on Saturday 26th, AND at Games Day France in Paris on Sunday 27th. THAT is a busy weekend I can tell you! I’ll have some detailed info on these last two events on the Forge World web site by the middle of next week for you.
If you are coming along to any of these events and want us to bring along a reservation for you to pick up on the day, give us a call on our mail order lines or send us an email titled ‘SHOW ORDER’ telling us your name and which Forge World products you want to order. All reservations will be held until 2pm.

Shiny new model time. The new door sets Forge World have made for the forces of the Inquisition have proven very, very popular. That’s why we’re working away on even more cool new models for this exciting new force. We have nearly finished an Inquisition Chimera rear door, a set of Inquisition icons for the side of a Chimera and an upgrade kit including new doors and badges for the Valkyrie. The boss has also admitted to our making a Grey Knights Dreadnought in the reasonably near future! More info on all of these soon!

Lots of you have been asking for this so here it is. A Grey Knights Thunderhawk Gunship. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/gkthunderhawk.htm We couldn’t resist making an upgraded version of this huge kit for the Grey Knights and who can blame us? This monstrous model is available to order right now at http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalo....32.html Also available now, but only until the end of April, is the Grey Knights Thunderhawk Upgrade kit. This includes all the pieces necessary to turn a standard Forge World Thunderhawk into the model you see here. We have made this available for those of you who already own a Thunderhawk but really want to turn it into a Grey Knights version.

Also great for Daemon Hunter armies and other Imperial forces we have a pack of four Servo-skulls and a pack of Purity Seals. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalo....32.html

Another thing we have been promising are Valkyrie Door Gunners. Well, today is a good day for promises. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/doorgunners.htm Each pack contains two different door gunners and two multi-part gun mounts. This combination of parts allows for a great variety of poses in the Valkyrie and makes a great model even better in my opinion.

We’ve also added a couple of other smaller new release models to our pre-order page so go and have a look there too. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalo....11.html
That’s all for today.
Thanks,

Ewen Little.
Forge World.

Cheers

Chris

The T-hawk was one of those things that I would really like to see in Epic, because the current one is so crap. It's out of scale and everything!!

Chris

thanks for posting that, some nice stuff (like the doorgunners) but alas nothing for the Epic player...

BTW am I the only one who thinks the T-Hawk is an awful design and doesn't seem to fit the SM theme??? or is it just me!

:O

I also was hoping for some Epic in there.

Also, i don't think the T-hawk is a bad design. it is better than the stupid one GW made at ?400!! This is resin and its cheaper AND bigger!!!

Hmm yeah, old matal T-hawk= crap I reckon- the new one is much bigger and better, but stilll rather expensive for me :;): , also, it seems to fit the space marine theme very well- parts of it are very like bits of the land raider and rhino, which tie itt in quite nicely.... :)

I received the News letter, too ... No Epic ...  :( ... well, I'll get over it.  The T/Hawk has 3 versions, with #3 just being a big version of #2.  Who knows what we'll see in the future, from G/W or F/W ?  ???

Which one was the first? Was it the flying coffin one?

Yes, the "Shoe box with wings", or flying coffin, was #1 (what were they thinking ? ??? ).  My buddy didn't mount the wings and put tracks on it and we gave it to the Squats, as a tank !!  I have mine (all 3 versions + two of my own design) in my SM units, and we use it as a gunship, like a Cobra or Apache helicopter.  Using the pop-up rules based on SM2, not as a flyer as in E40K.  It works for us ...  :D

Legion 4, do you have a digi cam? Could you take some pics of your "home grown" T-hawks? Please?

Cheers
