So many people do..... its what makes it hard to get a bargain.

I have one helbore missing a couple of parts.  I really really want to get another one and try some form of mystic process that means I have two complete ones.

I have the exact same thing! I am missing the thruster & jets at the back. What are you missing Mark?

i will be trying some home casting and replicate the whole model.

From memory mine is missing the tracks and the drill tip.

I have the chassy, ramp, jets and main body of the drill bit.

The tracks are easy to get, they belong to a plastic tank model, but I have forgotten which.

Then the guy who was in a bidding war with whoever won the auction will probably pick it up for a bargain and be laughing!

Thats the problem with Ebay.  Just because someone else got an insane price for something doesn't mean you will get enough for it really to have been worth selling something the same.

I would not be surprised if someone places one up for a Buy it Now for the same price as the auction.

That is the real issue I have with such things. Auctions are one thing, but ridiculous prices as a 'buy it now' really destroy the market for those trying to get into the hobby.
