hi people, I've a friend that's is working in a twilight 2000 RPG campaign, he needs photos about modern warfare ( NATO and Warsaw Pact).

Do you know any site that provides pics with common rights or free copyright?

Bans, I sent you a couple sites, that have model pics of NATO & former Warsaw Pact Forces.  I don't have any sites, on actual pics if those forces. I go to my Janes books for modern AFV ID, etc.  However, I find the GHQ site posts pics of their modern model AFVs which include some of the most up to date stuff. You could go to the Janes site too. But I have not been there in a while. Hope that helps ?   :D

For non-copyrighted stuff I think the best bet is seaching various forums for amateur pics. There's some pretty good ones around (I've used a lot of them as sources when researching gubbins for the EW MBT project). There's no real copyright on that sort of pics AFAIK but of course it would be polite to drop the user a mail and ask for permission to use them first.
I don't know if image databases like Flickr or http://sxc.hu/ might have something for you.

For the printed stuff getting permissions and avoiding copyright is a must. For net based stuff it is more likely you'll just recieve a notification to remove the pics if there's any issues.
