Hi Guys, sorry to hijack the boards with this and I appreciate your time. As some of you may know I run a Street Theatre Company in Bristol, UK, and we've just been shortlisted for part of a £60k pot of funding that could REALLY help us! In short the top half of those shortlisted who get the most public votes get the money: so if you could click HERE and then click 'VOTE' then that would be utterly superb and I promise to be eternally thankful. Forwarding the link to your mates would also be immensely helpful! Cheers in advance, Ryan/MoK For those that want to know more...: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++PRESS RELEASE++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ New Radical Theatre, a newly started street theatre company from Bristol, have been shortlisted for the chance to win part of a £60,000 pot of funding from The Big Challenge; 30 projects have been shortlisted by The Big Challenge and those that get the most public votes will recive a share of the money. The Big Challenge is an initiative run by UnLtd and Changemakers with funding from Vodafone and V foundation that focuses on helping young people make positive choices about their lives. The New Radical are a group of 20 young performers, musicians, activists, campaigners and artists seeking to have fun and help change the world with their own brand of DIY punk theatre ethos; they perform their own devised street performances, wear costumes made from recycled garbage and clothes, have a junk percussion busking samba band, run workshops for schools and youth and community organisations as well as supporting a variety of campaigns and campaigning organisations/charities. Formed in late December 2008 the group is thrilled to have been shortlisted for such a funding opportunity so soon and are now seeking to draw as much attention as they can to the groups efforts in order to get as many votes as possible from all corners.
