Hello

I frequently search eBay, nowadays I'm being totally mercenary and looking for stuff that's mis-listed, and going for far less than its actual value, with making a re-sale in mind.
During my search this last monday I found a listing entitled simply 'Epic Imperial Guard Models' - no pictures, all the description said was "complete in box not made", on at 99p.  Between the lack of pictures & description, and the £5 postage cost

bidders had been deterred, so I started to think about taking a punt...
I was intrigued to say the least: which models were they?  Plastic Infantry? Metal tanks?  I wondered if it was someone who had no idea about 40k and Epic, and had actually mislisted a blister of 40k Imperial Guardsmen...
I sent the seller loads of questions, but they didn't respond.  It got within 60 minutes of the auction ending, and I decided it was worth a gamble: even a blister of 40k guardsmen is worth £5.99, so I could resell that and break-even...
Anyway, I won the auction, and waited anxiously to see what I'd actually won.
When the post came this morning I opened my parcel, and was absolutely gobsmacked.  This is what I found:

Then I opened the box, and my reaction was a bit like
this line of dialogue:

So, that was a mint, unassembled, new on sprue box of SM1 era Imperial Guardsmen, for £5.99.  Woo-hoo!
Now, my only quandry is whether I want to make them, or sell them... can I resist the urge to do another Epic IG army?

Thanks for looking!
