Hello folks, Todays question is... Where can I find trucks (nothing too futuristic, WWII would do, Canvas topped preferably) that are just right for Epic? I wondered if FOW had suitable trucks but can't compare sizes with Epic. Many thanks. |

GHQ has a lot of such things, for example: http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/us9.html |

Some of the WWII GHQ trucks might look a little small ... so go with larger heavier modern stuff ... Like the German MAN 10 Ton or US HEMTT. ![]() ![]() |

Cheers guys. I checked out all three sites mentioned and I think the GHQ suits my needs best. I may even be tempted to buy some other stuff too. Really nice looking models. I better break it to the wife that we'll be eating tined cat food for the next month so I can pay for all the stuff I want. ![]() |

Brigade Models has some russian vehicles coming up that might work. There's perhaps also Exodus Wars' Guild Transport Squadron? |

IMO the GHQ German MAN 10 Ton is one I'd choose. But both that and the HEMTT are HUGE ! The HEMTTs in my last Bde ... the tires were almost as tall as a human ! So they should be in scale with Epic. As opposed to any WWII and modern 2½ ton or 5 ton trucks which might be a little small. And previously Warhead asked for stories of my experiences ... I often lead long convoys of 2½ & 5 ton trucks all over the ROK ! ![]() |

This incidentally is a good miltia vehicle, used it a bit for urban moderns. However my non epic collection of 6mm was nicked ages back and I can't for the life of me remember the dimensions. Likewise the Brit NI patrol vehicles, but those aren't particularily relavant here! |

TRC it's all relevant mate... I have already viewed just about every model on GHQ and will probably be dreaming about which ones I want the most for the next few days. However my non epic collection of 6mm was nicked ages back  ![]() I do contract work at very good rates. Ammo included in the price. PM me. What Epic do you have for trade?..  ![]() Brit NI patrol vehicles Possible Recon Element for PDF... I like it. Even though the worry is that the WWII trucks are too small I can't help but be drawn to the British Leyland Daff and the American 2 ton trucks... and the tank transporters and the halftracks (all of them) and the bridging vehicles... and the tanks... and all the other stuff... and the rules... you see where this is ending up, don't you? I only wanted some trucks for my PDF. O'man, curse you with your helpful knowledge...  ![]()
I often lead long convoys of 2? & 5 ton trucks all over the ROK ! L4 is there anything with wheels and green paint you haven't warmed the drivers seat with your butt. Come on man, you can't just mention something like that without coming across with more detail.
Brigade Models has some russian vehicles coming up that might work. There's perhaps also Exodus Wars' Guild Transport Squadron? Oops, sorry Erik almost forgot. I'll keep an eye out, always good to see what's on offer. I'll also have another look at the Guild Transport but it didn't make an impression first time round. I haven't forgotten the results for BatReps your looking for either. We're still playing and will hopefully finish tomorrow, so tomorrow night ok for results? |

I was licensed on some vehicles the Army no longer uses ! Jeeze L4, I was eight when you joined up. While I was playing with Airfix models you were playing for keeps. Those Exodus Wars Hoplon tracks do look tempting L4 and I will admit that DRM are looking like the only reason I'll ever want a PayPal account. I haven't seen a DRM mini I didn't like so far, good prices too. I think the Gladius is a mite small and modern for my needs and for FAV's I would rather get them from GHQ too. Maybe some of the moderns. Ok, from GHQ - WWII American duce and a half or British Leyland Daff for Trucks for PDF. Enough for a transport Coy... say ten vehicles. I think if they are smaller than a Rhino it wouldn't be all that bad... I hope. The price isn't that bad that I would be crushed if it didn't work or anything. Did you notice they have an American M3 Halftrack with troops sitting inside. I'm tempted to get it just because. |

I should've mentioned the various DRM off course, but you seemed intent on trucks, thus the Hoplon from EW... As it's closest to that look. And the Brigade ones are found under Design Studio. Any battlereports would be nice, so I get the impulse to get it all up and running. |
