Found on DakkaDakka.

This seems to be the year of GW computer games. I dont know how this has been missed so much, but it looks interesting:

At least it is not Firewarrior... Or Necron Warrior.

It does look interesting, as usual, I think I would find myself wandering around exploring the environment rather than looking for battle

We get it buddy...  :p

It'll be interesting, it is an accurate take on 40k but seeing it in live action like that really reminds me of how unrealistic it is.

And why didn't you like Firewarrior?

I assume it's an FPS game?  Huh.  A lot of those on the market already.  I wish they would come out with another good turn-based tactical game, such as an updated version of Chaos Gate.  That would so rock.

Wow. THQ really dont want this out there. I cant say that I blame them, as there are already comments about 'very similar to Gears of War' and 'not great explosions/collision detection/etc', even though this is just an alpha version.

Anyway, the last place that I found it is:

And, if this gets closed down by Monday morning, I will believe that THQ are reading these boards!  8v)

Ten times, at least.
"Intimate brutality", where do they come up with these terms?

Fire Warrior was an FPS on the Playstation 2.  It introduced the Orca, and had some nice pics of the Emissary cruiser.

gameplay? It's a console FPS (and I suck at FPSs anyway).

The novel, if you can find it, is actually pretty decent.

The best feature of FW was an image of Earth (rather Corusant-like, covered in city) in the opening credits.

... meets Mortal Kombat and The Matrix.

Personally, I'd prefer a turn-based tactical game to another mindless shooter, but since it's for a console, I guess it was to be expected.

Me too. But, turn based strategy games are a dying breed these days. I really would buy direct console/PC conversion of pretty much any GW game... or other wargame.
