Tabletop Gaming News mentioned this in their Gencon 2008 report:

Catalyst (Battletech & Shadowrun) managaement David (Stansel-Garner) and Randall (Bills) also mentioned a new miniature game they have coming soon that will be a VSF game with giant levitating battleships.

TGN said would be able to tell more after interview on last day at Gencon.

Am sure that Tas and Vanvlak will be interested in this!!

Cheers

James

I am in the midst of processing the video and I will be posting it tonight.

I spent a bit of time trying to convince them to make it 1:1200 scale

Email them, tell them you saw the video, and say you want 1:1200 scale minis.

If enough people ask they'll probably take it seriously

To be honest, the thing that is most likely to get me into the game would be the next fleet or two. The four currently available just dont grab me, at any scale. Any idea on what the near-future fleets will look like - I believe that an Undead one was in the pipeline.

EDIT: Ignore me... I was thinking of the Undead for Uncharted Seas.

Gather game has working title of Leviathan. Was interesting video. I have never been tempted by previous VSF. But I liked the sketches they showed of potentail designs for French and German battleships. If the final model look as good then I might be tempted.

Lucklily for me the game is some way away so might be able to afford buying initial box set when it releases.

Cheers

Email Catalyst Game Labs and tell them

They haven't set a scale and if there is enough feedback they may settle on 1:1200

Out of curiousity, why the 1:1200 request?

It's a popular ship builders scale.  So, lots of conversion pieces.
