Hello again everyone, 1st time on the new look forums. Looking very nice. A search didn't answer this question, so here it is: My link to eBay was set up to deposit a tiny bit of cash to this website whenever I won an auction. The link isn't working - "The link you clicked on has expired. It pointed to a Web site that was a member of the Commission Junction network and has since been deactivated or temporarily suspended. We apologize for any inconvenience." I take it this is to do with the forum reorganisation. Do we have a new link, or has the site chosen not to use it any more? |

Thanks Dave, sorted. Old fart question: what's a wiki? I take it this isn't a cricket term... |

A wiki is a bunch of web pages that allow anyone with access the ability to create, edit and remove them. The TacComm wiki is here: http://www.players.tacticalwargames.net/tiki-index.php |

It seems that I am not required here! ![]() eBay decided to move away from the previous commission system, and set up their own system - forcing people to change the links. This has been done, and you have the updated version. Have a look and play with the Wiki. I am looking for ideas to strengthen this aspect of the site. Thanks for your support with the link by bookmarking the commission version. It is appreciated. |

Does this new system make it possible to embed an ID in a URL so we can link directly to eBay? |

Good question, but as far as I know it does not. I will double check, though. |

As I mentioned before, a link from the top of the page would be easiest (near the title bar?) and I think most of us would actually WANT to have it to help bring in some income for the site. I actually feel guilty sometimes that such a great place is free. |
