After playing siegers for a weekend I need a fast and cheerful force.

I'm after Guard or marines.
I'd like to have a Reaver and a Warhound as the core (so sadly no Thunderbolts for the first time ever for me!).

What could accompany them in a guard or marine army respectively?

Marines I guess could be thunderhawks and stuff, or drop pods (I could drop my newly completed Devestator company!)

Guard I guess go light with a couple of vulture and couple of valkry formations?

With marines its either drop or T'hawk and termies.

Guard is tricky but I'd go with some garrisioned inf companies then the fast stuff you mention. You're going to run out of points fast either way.

If the bombers were bp 3 and 250 for two I would have to have a navy army of 4 bombers, 6 thunderbolts, 8 vultures, 8 valkries, stormtroopers and infantry!

I guess it could be Reaver, Warhound, 2x (Inf company, heavy weapons, hydra), 2x (Vultures), 2x (Valkyries and Stromtroopers).

I guess it could be Reaver, Warhound, Strike Cruiser, 5x (Dev formation), and stuff (thunderhawks, terminators, chaplains etc)

Or with Marines drop the warhound for some Land Speeders and Thunderbolts.

If you could make it to Britcon all your T-bolt problems would be solved ?:D .
You could have a Reaver,Warhound and 2 formations of T-bolts.

If going marine I could drop the Warhound for two lots of thunderbolts.
