Giving them four Razorbacks and garrisoning them on overwatch is one of my favourite uses of Marine Scouts.

So, I find them worth their points.

Really depends on the size of game you're playing.  At 3000 points they're a bit "iffy"... in larger games, they can kick a lot of butt and take a lot of hits so they're better there.

are whirlwinds really good
Whirlwinds are "decent", not "really good".  Since they are the longest range Marine unit, they are good for prepping enemy formations for assaults or for taking out infantry mobs.  Most Marine armies take at least one formation of them... and I've fought a battle where the opponent *only* have Whirlwind formations... it was hilarious!

Welcome to the boards, samuelk2!

Yes, they can disrupt enemy movements and grab objectives

are warlord titans worth
Probably only for your first few battles, then your opponent will get its measure and either tool up to kill it or leave it along.

are whirlwinds really good
They are important to SM as they have the range to hurt an enemy, but are not game winners. One or two max in a 3000pt army.

In a 3000 point game, I'd more likely take a Reaver.

Welcome aboard, Sam.

I find the best bang for your buck is a pair of Warhounds @ 3000 points.  I'm not a afan of the Reaver model, and I just finished building my Warlord, but I find he's  tad expensive.

We tend to pair up here.  If I take a Warlord for example, my opponent will bring out his Warlock.
