I've looked but couldn't find a thread on this, so I thoguht I would make one.

I'm wondering how else is going to gamesday UK this year?  It will be my first and would be quite nice to meet other tactical command members there.

I'll be wearing a black t-shirt with "Samael" writing on the back, and will either be pestering FW to make more epic stuff, or trying to find one of the minors I've agreed to look after (ready treat as serfs to supply me with drink and food).

I'm going.

I'm 6" tall, wearing blue jeans and a white shirt, and I'll keep my eye out for you. :)

EDIT: Make sure to find Andy Hall on the White Dwarf stand and poke him about Epic!

Not only that, we need someone to go and take him hostage till GW guarantee the re-release of the plastic Epic 'Nid infantry... :;): :p :D

Not good news on that front unfortunately.

SG is going to go through a fallow period according to Andy H... so that means no more releases until it is restructed "and then it'll have more employees than just me!".

So no 'nid plastic sprue for the forseeable, sorry, but it's been pulled. :(

Alright: Well I guess that prety much confirms what we already suspected: the future of Epic is now in the hands of the fans and certain other miniature manufacturers (I shall mention no names :D :;): )

Pretty much.

FW intend to become a little more active in the Epic world, at least with more terrain for the moment... but SG has pretty much run out of steam.

Didn't see you E&C, but I'm pretty sure I saw you DKoK in the golden deamon.  Either that or someone else is crazyenough to build such stunning tanks.

They were beautiful to behold.

Yeah those were mine!

Sorry about being vague this morning, if I wasn't in such a rush I would have tried to arrange a meeting time for us.

There were quite a few Epic entries this year (well, five). :D

I entered mine, didn't make the cut though.

Showed Seb and Mark and they liked them, which was good enough for me.

I didn't see any Epic bits move to the second round.

Which was yours?

I saw:
- My Death Korps
- Two inquisitor models playing 40k with Epic models
- Epic Marines & IG on a hill diorama
- 3 Emperor class Titans as a single entry
- Epic Marines versus Orks diorama (mini-40k)

Well so much for all the work on the nid list.  Just for fans and those who already have the army now.

Hurry up EW and DR and make some bugs!
