I just find it supremely annoying when I get sniped at the last second and it goes for 0.50 more than my max bid...

Quote (Tas @ 14 2005 June,08:12) | I just find it supremely annoying when I get sniped at the last second and it goes for 0.50 more than my max bid... | That is only beause that is what the "next bid" would be. The person very well could have entered $100 more then you or $1,000 more. You do not know and do not get to see it.
Truth is, .050 or $25 does not matter. It was more then you were willing to pay. Right? Couse if you say, well I would have paid .50 more, I ask why didn't you bid a max that was .50 more.

I have two categories when deealing with eBay. 1) Items I want. 2) Items I _absolutely_ want.
I never raise my initial bid on category 1) items. If someone wants to pay more than that, I'll let him have 'em. Category 2) items, OTOH, I fight with tooth & nail to get. These include Man O'War items I don't have yet but not much else.

Quote (Mojarn Piett @ 15 2005 June,08:58) | | I have just 1 rule: not going! I spend too much $ and even more time which I can't afford. Of course having some good friends who find stuff I really want, contact me, and proxy for me on ebay for me is even better! thanks guys!

I do still have a max bid I won't exceed for category 2) items, but I'm more willing to fight for them.

Bravo and well done that Lady!
I agree with Maksim, its relatively straight forward to snap your pics, but getting "that" photo (just as you see them in mags) is a refined art. One I have a long way to go before it is mastered...
anyway- get snapping so we can see you stunties and friends
