For anyone interested in WW1 aviation, or outrageous non tactical paint schemes, this is an interesting link:
http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww1/f/530/9

Anyway, I just got home from passing my next Karate grading so I'm off to ice up some limbs and nurse some pain! :p

WW1 planes certainly did have some interesting paint schemes.

Cool links Tas - congrats on the grading too!

That WW1 site reminds me of some interesting news from here in New Zealand - Peter Jackson has given the national museum an exclusive LOTT exhibition, his asking price was one working Sopwith Camel engine :8): Apparantly a WW1 aerial movie has long been one of his goals - and if anyone can do it well, I reckon it is Peter Jackson (and if he wants to annoy the studios by making it longer than two hours by spending his own money that's fine with me :p ).

Speaking of Peter Jackson... has anyone seen King Kong? I know I should be patriotic and see it but I just don't see how a movie about a giant ape can be stretched into 3.5 hours??   :80:  :8:

Thanks guys, appreciated.  Its darn hard work, but very rewarding.  My daughter also got her next belt, and wife and son are due for their next ones in 3 months or so.

Its also handy for keeping the boys in line in the Ship too.  Belting the crud out of some bags and doing some practice moves each day seems to gain immediate compliance to my next 'request'.  :D

Speaking of Peter Jackson, I think he is an enthusiast for the WWI in general.

Check this out:

Sorry Tas for stealing your thread for a moment.

Perry Minis

In the "Select a range"  pull down menu select "Peter Jackson Minis."
