Quote (MaksimSmelchak @ 28 2005 Mar.,06:16) | The principal spoke to me the Friday before last to let me know things weren't personal and she wanted to recognize that I did the job I'd come to do. She told me that she thinks I'm more of the "professorial" sort and less of the elementary teacher sort. | Ho hum...
Just M(NS)HO but judging from what I've "seen" I'd say you fit in just about anywhere where teaching is involved.
Not that my opinion has any weight anywhere...

Hi Guys,
The last few days have been relatively quiet. I went to a boring staff meeting yesterday that was a complete drag.
Tuesday's Hobby Monkey game was too hard far me to make (too much stuff to take care of at home) so I didn't go.
Chern has tonight off so I hope we can meet up.
The Nid v5.35 playtest list is shaping up and I hope to release it some time near the end of next week or so if not sooner.
I've been reading a Traveller novel called "To Dream of Chaos" by Paul Brunette and enjoying it very much. The Traveller universe is a very good one and really lends itself to a good story.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Maksim,
I did not know you knew of Traveller!
Traveller is what got me into gaming years ago and is the focus of our new gaming group.
Do you play the role-playing game (and which version if you do)?
I have alot of reference material for Traveller, in fact, I own more Traveller materials than I ever had of miniatures.
Best regards, Dalton.

Hi Dalton,
Dalton: I did not know you knew of Traveller! |
Sure, I've been a fan since the game came out. I have all of the original books... somewhere!
Dalton: Traveller is what got me into gaming years ago and is the focus of our new gaming group. |
My San Jose group is a Traveller focussed group. They (me included) love that game! We've played all the various Traveller games including Striker and Striker II as well as many of the board games. We correspond with the guy designing Striker III as well.
Here's the link to our site:
http://www.3rd-imperium.com/Tactics-0/ You'll see my name in a lot of the games!
Dalton: Do you play the role-playing game (and which version if you do)?
I prefer the original but "The New Era" is good as well.
I should probably also add that I really like "Traveller 2300" although that game isn't really a "Traveller" game. I think of "Traveller 2300 AD" (Should be CE) as a sort of prequel to the regular (original) "Traveller" and "Traveller: The New Era" universes.
Dalton: I have alot of reference material for Traveller, in fact, I own more Traveller materials than I ever had of miniatures.
I have a lot of sci-fi minis, but since I am a 6mm sci-fi gamer, not too much of my stuff was actually designed for Traveller.
Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
