Well its Homecoming Day today!
We steam in through the heads and back into Sydney Harbour in about an hour in full ceremonial white uniforms with shiny new medals. Band and Admirals etc to meet us, plus of course all our families. And a Champagne reception in the Wardroom naturally!
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who sent me emails and notes of support while I was in Iraq. It really helped me in my brief 'off-watch' time and greatly contributed to my sustained morale.
Thanks very much.
And Remember: "Freedom isnt Free"
