Got this message today through one of Maksim's Yahoo groups.

Ever wish you could turn your green-stuff original or conversioninto a
metal figure? or maybe a LOT of metal figures? Well now you can!
Visit our website <http://www.diamond-foundry.com> ?for full details or
send us an e-mail ?and we'd be
happy to answer any questions
?you have.

Probably no help getting old models reproduced, but could help with personal sculpts.

The official release date for the Chaos plastics is the 3rd of March.

I was not here, no-one saw me.... *looks around nerviously* I'll deny all knowledge of this post.

hmm, Yes I heard it was on the official release list now. But more like end of March early April. Just in case the chaos sprue's put any of us off buying lots of 40K Dark Angels  :p

I also heard that the 40K campaign weekend will have some element of Epic in it. The problem with this is that it is one weekend before the WPS CC. I'm guessing, but I would expect most UK tournament players will go to the CC as its ?15 cheaper.

Problem then is that SG may say that we had the chance and no one wanted to play! Dilemma  :(

which weekend is this. If I can I'll be there, as long as it is not in February, we are a man down so getting a weekend off is impossible.

The GW weekend is the 19-20 May with the WPS CC the following weekend 26 -27.

GW will cost ?50 for probably 6 games and 3 meals. Now I have no idea what the games will be as this is a campaign weekend and not a straight GT type tournament. No details on the GW events web site. Only the date, cost and last years rules!
The Events page - No mention of Epic though!

WPS CC is ?35 for 5 games and 3 meals. Booking form available that the players society web site. Last years rules are there and I doubt much if anything will change. Maybe chaos will be allowed if the sprues are released and the list made official.

WPS Web site

I might be interested in going to a GW 40k/Epic event... always fun to show the Core gamers a game with 'tactics' and 'subtlety' rather than just 'lots of dice'. :D

The words "tactics" and G/W don't go together ! ? ?And I won't be surprised if the Chaos sprue is pushed back again ... I remember the Feral Ork & Eldar releases ... not to mention other G/W timeline paradoxes !?But I don't need the sprue (since I already have a large Chaos Force), however, I feel your pain Boyz ... ?But I'm awaiting the new DRM stuff to be available in the US ... So we are all waiting on something ! ?:D ? (And I'm waiting on a small miracle or two, also ... but I'm not holding my breath either !) :(

Oh, come now.  I'm sure that "The Braveheart Charge" qualifies as a tactic...

yah, it would be good to go to a 40K'ish tournament were there are more tactics than "i can roll more 3+ than you, i win". :;):

Well, I see we agree ... the 40K tactical doctrine of run into the middle and club each other with range weapons ... is a valid substitue for fire and maneuver ... :D

This might be a false hope, but the vets night at Reading store is going to become more clubby (same night just that we have ackub name and T-shirts)

We were asked to fill out a form with contact details (and all the usual stuff) as well as write down which armies we collect, including SG games and aeronauticus!

Maybe Reading will allow SG gaming, or maybe they will just gloat how I have spent loads on ames they wont support.  Who knows

Nice link! I might just use them to produce a figure or two...

I think you COULD perhaps recast old OOP figures through them if you claim it to be "backups" and I don't think even GW legal would object. After all, you can't buy NEW backups.

Disseminating them to the masses would be rather more questionable.

"Dear Name Removed (Chaos & Evil),

I'm just dropping you a quick email to let you know that I received your
recent letter about playing Epic in our Plaza store, and have got various
people looking into what happened. Unfortunately it's going to take another
week or so before they can get back to me, but as soon as they do I will get
back to you to let you know why what happened, happened.

Sorry for the delay!

Jervis"
