Much easier... except that I attached the weapons on pointed the wrong way (or, if I got it wrong first time around, they are correct and the other two are round the wrong way!).

Anyway, alternative project is now completed. I finished assembling the last infantry stands this morning. I include a picture, not because it is anything impressive, but as proof that I actually finished the assembly!

Back row: Night Spinners (3), Fire Prisms (3) and Jet Bikes (6), Guardian Warhost (7+1) with Wave Serpents (4).

Front row: War Walkers (8), Guardian Warhost (Farseer, 3 Storm Guardian squads, 4 Guardian Defender squads) with an attached Vyper and Wave Serpents (4), Aspect Warriors (2 Fire Dragons and 2 Dark Reapers, one with an Exarch) with Wave Serpents.

The Aspect Warriors are a combination that I am trying out, they should be nasty in a firefight! I have not added the Exarch at this point, but his stand has 3 rather than 4 Dark Reapers on it. I have mixed old plastic and new metal Fire Dragons on the bases, and find that the older plastic ones are cleaner and more detailed! ?:devil:

Next alternative project... 40K Necrons! ?:confuse: ?I want to paint (yes, actually paint!) a squad of six. Four are already assembled and awaiting an undercoat, and this is another attempt to clear the decks a little.

One picture of unpainted Epic! I spoil you guys!  :D

I have been holding off with the Necrons until I have come up with an interesting paint scheme.. Dont worry, as soon as I have pictures of absolutely anything, I will put them up here. I will probably try to get some work in progress shots here.

An update to the 'painting' thread!  :;):  Six Necron Warriors assembled (minus weapon glow-sticks, obviously). I just need to add squad markings and get them undercoated.

Yep. I am sticking to the rules - two projects on the painting desk, max. The Epic Eldar were assembled for my campaign, but will wait for some paint. Six 40K (scale) Necrons are next - not actually for 40K, but anyway...
