Looks like they've got themselves a new front end. Boy is it slow...

Spend time shopping, endure slothful interface, enter wrong password on accident, shopping cart cleared!

Oh, I knew the site, I just was wondering the specific problem he had... never used the store, probably never will.

CMoN's site problem is still there. So, screw them. I ordered my big booby miniatures directly from Soda Pop.

Really, http://www.manticgames.com/News/Article/150610-Mantic-unveil-Dwarf-Troop-Sprue.html ? Dwarfs? How original!

Look dudes, I let the elf thing go, figuring the company founder had a hard-on for elves. Then the skeleton thing was OK, because skeletons with weapons are fuggin' cool. But dwarves? What next? Hobbits? Orcs? Maybe a tree man? Try reading something besides Tolkien's hundred year old books.

I'm aching for good plastic of stuff that has never been seen under the sun, and yet you give me these tired old retreads.

(Sorry, DS, nothing personal - rant is about using resources, not about the coolness of dwarves).

(Also, don't take this as disrespect towards Tolkien. I'm a fan, but he's been copied enough).

Mantic's entire business model is built on providing proxies for Warhammer armies at one third of the price of the GW versions.

I doubt we'll see them make anything that doesn't have a direct corollary in Warhammer for a while yet.

No logic or common sense during rant time!

Don't worry; I didn't take it personally. I agree with your rant.

Apparently there's a contingent within our hobby that keep it classier than you and I Apoc.

With those style of beards, those might make decent chaos dwarves. Might have to install lift kits in their hats though.

I picked up some of their skeleton boxes, and they're a fairly good deal. Certainly better than Wargames Factory.

Edit - wait, that's not a rant! Damn it! Tricking me into not ranting about them!

I like that all their miniature sets come with little carry cases.
