I figure you guys will appreciate this...

I had a brief exchange with Andy after I sent in my army list submission for the Fanatic contest.  He asked me to "communicate back to the community that the letter has done its job."  He has been considering the ERC situation and has a meeting scheduled with Jervis to discuss solutions.

Thanks, Neal.  I am glad that SOMETHING is happening.  The mere fact that he got it and is willing to discuss it should bring some confidence back into the community.

If you have a chance tell Andy thanks for listening.

I'm not going to get my hopes up too high either, but that is really good news. I'm glad to hear that we were able to have some sort of affect.

On a less positive note from Warseer-

Recently I emailed Andy Hall asking about the Necromunda Rules Review, to which I got the following reply:

Quote It's a difficult one to answer. At the moment I'm trying to pause any further development to the Specialist games, as we've come to a juncture where the higher ups need to make a decision about the future direction of the games. Until I have that steer I'm loath to continue any further official development to the games. Hence why it's been quiet on the R.R. front. At the moment I think we've got a game that works very well and while I'm aware there are niggling issues hardcore players would like fixed (there always are) I don't think holding a R.R. at this time would be wise thing to do.

That's a copy-paste, I saw that email appear on a Necromunda forum more than a month ago.

A chap living in the US with 10 posts on Warseer tells us that he has Earth-shattering news from England.

Colour me skeptical. :D

I dont know. 10 posts doesnt mean he doesnt know what he is talking about - just that he doesnt post on Warseer much (which may make me more inclined to think that he knows people), and while he is US and GW is UK, his 'worldwide tournaments' are US located.

Just please, please, please dont let this be the 'World Series' - an international event which only includes the US!  :D

It would make sense... but I cant quite see the difference over the initial proposal made for SG... Which makes me think that it might really be a GW policy!
