Found this today in the garage and knew you guys would be interested. ?Its a diorama I made over 15 years ago when I was into Space Hulk, before I joined the Navy.
Its not award winning or amazing, but I had fun making it and it is very nostalgic.
It depicts a squad of tactical marines (note the old plastic beakies!) in a Hulk being ambushed by a trio of stealers. One of the stealers gets blown away bu the fireteam is taking serious casualties: 2 men down, 1 walking wounded...
It doesnt look good for our Heroes...
Its normally protected in its case like this:

Postman just delivered this lot which I intercepted en route to Ebay and offered him his starting prices in cash usng the Dafrca "job lots are worth more seperatly" policy (patent pending!). ?Did well I think:

I work for a company thats a Canadian Department of National Defense contractor.
The nickname for the Cadpat digital camo pattern (the second last link above) up here is "relish jar". Our DND liason gets ridden pretty hard about being prepared for an "ambush at the salad bar".
Works pretty well in the field though from everything I've been told. Also includes thermal signature retarding ink thats supposed to break up your outline in the infrared spectrum as well.
