Another site of interest, which no doubt has L4's stamp of approval:
ARMOR CAMOUFLAGE & MARKINGS displays a random sampling of armored vehicle cammo & markings.

I cannot resist posting this!
We all know who its for...dont we L4? ?

It had this caption: "You can see that tanks are typically designed by blokes and not your arty-farty blokes of questionable sexuality either. They are designed by real macho men who do a lot of grunting and farting as they walk around. This clearly accounts for the appalling colour schemes that you usually find in military weaponry of this type.
If you happen to be hopping off the tube (London underground) at Elephant and Castle station you might like to make a small detour to Old Kent Road to see a more creative approach to tank camouflage. "

Of course, no tank cam links would be complete without;
Bovington Tank Museum, Dorset, UK - World's Largest tank Collection. I went there in 2001 and its fantastic! www.tankmuseum.co.uk
Australian Army Tank Museum - this is the vehicle hall page. ?The displays here are good too. http://www.armytankmuseum.com.au/i-vd.htm
One day I will vist this place too! http://www.tankmuseum.ru/
I find myself spending hours looking at sites like these. ? Thats how I find what HAS to be some GW inspiration!

Righty-ho men - I'm home and ready to paint!
Had a good trip to Darwin and swung home via Adelaide where I had a flying 24hr visit with a good mate and got a few various games in (plus the obligatory BBQ and beers!). Then direct to karate training from the airport. Thus a little weary right now!
Well, I'll try and catch up with the 7(!) pages of new posts here in the next few days but for now sleep, and then my last day at work for 3 weeks. Yee-ha!
