Use care in placing too much in that feedback though. Because of liability laws in this country (The US) most would either refuse or if they did, it might not be the truth.
I know I would never tell you that I picked the other person because as I came out to get you I smelled BO, or because your answers seemed immature, or because you were fidgeting while being interviewed. I would just say that the other person had more specific experience in the areas I was looking for. 
Not Fair, true, but a lot safer if you know what is good for you.

Speaking from experience, I know it can be difficult to "see the sunny side" after being turned down for a job.
If you haven't already, post your resume on online sites like Monster. I got my current job that way. A recruiter saw my resume, called me on a Wednesady, met with me on Thursday, setup an interview on Friday and by the following Wednesday I was hired. Without posting my reume online, I would never have found out about this job opening.

I've been a little depressed too ... it will pass ... I guess sometimes it's easy to be disappointed about things in life we have no control over. But we can try to control how we react ... knowing that does not make it any easier, sometimes ...

Sorry M/S- bit late I know but it is part of interview process. It's a lucky person that can get first job they go for. I lucked out this time round but time before it took me about a dozen first interview and half a dozen second interviews.
