Simplistic is just what I need. He is 4 1/2 years old and very, um, lively. And we could say he'd be perfect for the next Spider Man movie. He'd do all the stunts himself... 
Pirates too? Well indeed! My next planned game will be "Mody Rex" aka Hunt for the Great White Saurian - inclduign a riverboat (with mounted Hotchkiss Gun), Cpatin Ahb, Mr Starbcuk and a certain dark skinned harpooneer...:laugh:
It will go way, way over the kids' heads, but I'll be most amused and I know they'll have fun regardless!

Ah, but that's just the idea. There's one Finnish writer who writes children's books. He writes very good stories but in his books there are things the kids can't possibly get, like names and illustrations. They have clearly been put there for the amusement of parents who usually have to read those stories. Is he great or what?

Well he is exactly the same age as Reilly then (DOB Jan 01) who adores Spiderman. Indeed, any superhero! Luckily I've moved him onto Star Wars, kaiju and dino hunting now!
Think you'll find S.Safari just the thing - Northstar had the rulebook across the world and at my door within a week

Well, you know, we have a house rule that says if you miss with the rock/tree/tank that you were attempting to toss, you have to fling it across the table in the approximate direction. Although I will not allow my Epic pieces to be flung thusly, anything else is fair game.

Right then chaps - I'm off in the morning on a big 3 week exercise (1 Carrier Strike Group, 1 Amphib group etc). Good news is that I wont be at sea for this one, bad news is that I am helping to run the HQ and the sequence of events.
However, being ashore may mean I get to drop in here regularly, I'll have to see how my schedule runs. Heres hoping anyhow!
