I've been really confused about this issue, it was said that it was changed from Full Planet to Dwarf because asteroids were a similar size, everything that's been mentioned so far is smaller so why not say 'anything smaller than Pluto is a ?' or are they waiting for/expecting a larger body to appear?
No - nothing expected, but then anything smaller would include very small asteroids, comets, etc, which are WAY too small to be called anything other than - uh - small asteroids, comets, etc. Sigh - I think everyone will still call Pluto a planet for a long time, and anyway, before we can compare our system to others, we shouldn't continue to mess about with categories and classes of stuff, as they'll all fal anyway once we can identify with better accuracy the sizes and orbits of planets (dwarfs, Plutos, whatever) in other systems.
Anyway, they confirmed the existence of dark matter, and I gues that's more important than nomenclature. ?

That body nicknamed Xena is supposedly larger than Pluto. I think that its discovery is what ignited the debate.
