Ah, Gimpelus Titanicus. He was a fun project. ?:laugh:

I did not "bash" anything. He was smashed up and I saved him from the "junk" and restored him to his new glory. (With help from a friend who painted him once I was done). Here is the thread where I told the story of his rise from the grave:

Found some old files from my pre-marrage days. I will try and clean up a couple of pictures etc to post to the photobucket. Sure you guys would get a good laugh to see me and my friends back then. We were so strange.

I also have located a couple of nice, older Traveller trackter type things. Very small compaired to the newer figures. Anyway, I am thinking of doing a conversion and using them as small scout "tanketts". We shall see how that goes.  :laugh:

Had to replace all the water in my pool. Seems that water get's "tired" or over saturated with chemicals.

You would not believe how long it takes to pump it out and then refill it.  :O

I did put some of the hours to good use, I read a couple of rule books.  :laugh:

Well, got told I need to go to Chicago and be there tomorrow by three in the afternoon. That means leaving here by 6:30 am. And that means arrival at the airport by 5:00ish in the am. And that means get out of bed about 4:00 am. And they let me know today at 3:30 pm.

4 plane flights later I am back in Burbank.

The Press Check was a good one. The layovers in SLC were odd, but not a major problem. I did take the Hammer?s Slammers Rule book with me and read through it.

Oh and on a side note, came back to find a package from QRF with my Armored cars and a 15mm SCUD Launcher. The SCUD is a large vehicle.

Also, I have a suggestion for those people that can't seem to plan their way out of a wet paper bag.

While I was in the Navy, I made a file to attach to replies to people that dropped surprises on me like that.  It was two pages.  The first page said:  '7P Rule:  Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss-Poor Performance' and the second page said 'Lack of planning on your part does not now, nor will it ever, constitute an emergency on my part.'  I would send this reply, copy to the Admin Officer (my supervisor) and the Executive Officer (his boss), to someone who stuck me with a short-notice emergency because they couldn't be bothered to get it done before the deadline.
